Objective

To expose GKC’s students on upcycling, segregation and understand the concept of “Upcycling”
To promote the concept of "upcycle" to attract community interest in managing waste from home and community.
To promote the practice of 3R and cultivate the habit of separation of waste from home and community.

Three Steps Forward

METHODS OF IMPLEMENTATION

The Recycling House will be upgraded to create a more conducive waste management space.

Students are trained on how to manage & process recycled materials, especially those that are available at home such as HDPE, LDPE & glass.

Recycled HDPE & LDPE materials that have been processed will be sold to target organizations that actively produce upcycle products. (Tonibung, TAME)
