Misi Penghantaran Sumbangan Kepada Komuniti (Distribution of Donations to Communities)

The enforcement of the Movement Control Order (MCO) last March as a result of the spread of COVID-19 has caused communities in Sabah, especially those living in the interior areas, great deal of difficulty. Because of the MCO, they were not able to get basic necessities in nearest towns.

Because of this, PACOS Trust along with participating NGOs and concerned donours have come together and collected donations for the communities in the form of rice, eggs, biscuits and other basic kitchen necessities. The donations were then distributed to communities within our community network throughout all the zones in Sabah – Western Zone, Eastern Zone, West Coast Zone, Interior Zone and Kinabalu Zone. These donations were especially distributed to specific target groups within these zones who have been severely affected during the MCO period that has since been extended to the fourth phase (6 weeks in).

Below are pictures of our volunteers who worked tirelessly to make sure that the donations are collected, packed and distributed to the communities and of the donation recipients themselves. Our deepest gratitude to all the volunteers, NGOs dan kind donours for contributing your time, energy and resources to communities in need.
